Methodology

TokensWatch tracks the list prices of 13 large language model APIs and records every change we detect. Data was last refreshed on 2026-07-04.

What the numbers mean

• USD per 1 million tokens, on the provider's own API (not resellers or aggregators).
• Standard tier — no prompt-caching, batch, or negotiated volume discounts.
• "Blended" price assumes a 3:1 input-to-output ratio, which matches typical chat and RAG traffic. Your ratio may differ — use the calculator.

How updates work

An automated job checks provider pricing against public sources daily and opens a change record when anything moves. Every change links back to the provider's pricing page, and we keep the full history public on the change log.

Corrections

Spotted a stale price? Providers change things quietly and we'd rather fix it in hours than days — email corrections to the address in the site footer once launched.
